I first met Olive when i was at school with Lesley who invited me round for tea. I was made to feel so welcome and Olive’s warm personality stayed with her throughout her life. She was so well suited to her travel guide role and displayed an amazing knowledge of “places of interest.” I am so glad that our lives caught up with each other again when we were living in Cornwall and that we met up for lunch in Colchester in October. She had many anecdotes that kept us entertained, and had so enjoyed her 90th birthday celebrations. What a wonderful lady, who lead a full and interesting life.
